Merry Christmas from Wendy & Angel Maddie 💝

Hello everyone & Happy Christmas Eve❣ I needed to write one last Christmas post for Maddie. She brought me so much joy, especially at Christmastime & I have a lot of photos of those special moments we shared.

I adopted Maddie in September 2009, so this was our first Christmas together. She had turned two a month earlier.

Christmas 2015 – Age 8
Maddie really hated the cold. She never strayed very far from the warmth of the woodstove. 💕

Maddie’s one job was to protect Santa’s cookies from Alfie while I was busy.

The narrator mentions my car as the SUV @ the .32 mark. Not all of us were in 4 wheelers… 🙄 Following a LONG DRIVE into the desert, we all gathered for a feast & Christmas cheer!
It was an AMAZING experience & so much fun! ❤
Maddie’s last Christmas in 2022. 🥺 We were housesitting for friends in Maine & alone for Christmas. I didn’t feel alone. I cooked delicious meals for myself & Maddie & I snuggled up & watched Christmas movies. 💝

On May 2, 2021, I departed from Massachusetts in my 2017 Ford Edge (Breezy Blue) with my 13.5 year young pup, Maddie, to fulfill a lifelong dream of a road trip across America. Our departure was delayed by a month, but we're making up for lost time now! My goal is to be out and about for a year.
